Where's Arnie? Our Olyroos supremo? Anyone heard him speak? He did an interview with Channel 7, like they'd know what to ask but nothing with our football media not even with his "very silent" media mates who have strong links to the man. Robbie Slater and the amazingly supportive SMH journo Mike Cockerill.

When you say we'll get a medal, and we don't then you have to front up to 442. FoxSports and SBS the major football media in this country. Don't you. No matter how much it hurts.

Even if it's to resign, apologise or explain how it actually went to plan or in this case failed to.

Is Arnie still in China? No surely not the Olympics is over! He knows this right! Maybe he booked his flight after the final thinking the team would be there!

Is he in London watching players? Hmmm could be in transit.

Or will he be taking part in the open top bus street parade in Sydney to welcome home the Olympians? Front and centre...maybe not!

Is he receiving hospitality from the AFL supremo Andrew Dimitriou himself also in Beijng for the Olympics...mind boggles but that's another story.

Or is he watching Bruce Djite's debut in Turkey, trying to hide in the shady part of the ground because of the heat.

Wherever he is, I suspect he's going to have to do that interview. Sometime, somewhere and it won't be pretty.

Not for Robbie Slater if he does it, we don't want a fluffy piece Rob, not for best mate Mike Cockerill if he does it, we don't want a Arnie for Socceroos piece Mike, and certainly not if Craig Foster does it.

That'll be vicious and probably unfair. But hey it needs to be done.
