Demanding too much money from Sydney, Juninho has taken his place and money!

And now Aloisi is left without a club.


Wellington Phoenix are hoping to get 15,000 for their first A-League game against Melbourne Victory for their opening game of the season at the Cake Tin, Wellington's home ground.

With over 6,000 for a pre-season game against Sydney FC, Wellington may well reach their target.

But little coverage in the local media in Wellington has local football fans complaining. Sounds like it's hard work over in NZ to get any traction for football in the local media.

Still if they get 15,000 for the first game, media coverage will follow.

14 Aussies are playing in the EPL this year. The biggest ever number of players from Australia.

And there are over 150 playing in Europe. Imagine the quality of the A-League if we had most of these players back home. Of course it would never happen, but League, Union and AFL would struggle if they lost some of their best players.

It's amazing the A-League is so strong given we lose so many players.
