Best A-League game you've seen.

Last week's Adelaide United v Central Coast Mariners game got me thinking.

What was the best A-League you've ever seen, can be at the ground or on TV

Here's my list.

For various reasons:

Victory v Adelaide Grand Final
Sydney v Mariners Grand Final.
Victory v Central Coast 3-3 last season.
Jets v Sydney last seasons preliminary final.
Various Adelaide v Sydney clashes in Sydney season 1.

Got a favourite, let us know.

I enjoyed both Grand FInals thoroughly, and particularly for the atmosphere.

But the most entertaining game the A-League has put on so far has to be the 3-3 draw Victory v CCM played out last season, with Victory down to 9 men.

The game was a cracker from the opening kick-off with tonnes of attacking and it was amazing to watch a 9 mean Victory side have the upper hand for such a long time before equalising just before the final whistle. It was awesome to be at Telstra Dome that night.

I've actually never seen an A League game live on account of moving to the UK the year before the league kicked off, but we do get the odd game on telly over here. Every week there's a half hour A League highlights package on Sky and they showed the Grand Final live from last season, so that would be the best game I've seen I suppose on account of it being the only one!

As for the NSL... the best game I saw was Canberra Cosmos' first meeting with Northern Spirit at North Sydney Oval in about 1999. A goal down early on then stormed back to win 2-1 in front of 10,000 angry locals. Brilliant. Actually, every trip to Spirit was good. I think I went there 3 times and we won on each occasion.

Did you see Aussie Scott McDonald sink Milan

ahhh the Cosmos, they were the days, and you sound like you were a dedicated football nut...

we're gonna need plenty of them for our new A-League side

so better start planning the rip home....

you know you want to, besides the UK, grey, funny accents and over-rated.
