Canberra Media Anti-Football Award Nominee
Who is your nominee for the Australian and Canberra anti-football awards.
Updated entry 12.12.07
There are two awards, The National Channel 7 award and the Channel 7 Canberra award to be handed out at the end of the year.
Get your entries in!
1. The National Channel 7 award goes to The Australian journalist who writes, talks the best anti-football stuff. Nominees are now open.
Channel 7 bought the rights to the old NSL ,but in the sentiment of a recent Court Case, "with the intention of killing the game, by not showing the games!"
2. The Channel 7 Canberra award.
Of course all nominees have the opportunity to come and discuss their nominee on-air on the Nearpost radio show.
And just wondering about how I should present the awards:)...Chaser style I suppose:)

Tim Gavel is only interested in the Thugby Union - he has no interest or knowledge of the Beautiful Game. His radio show on 666 on Saturday mornings should be called The Brumbie's Show - he is a waste of space.
Can you nominate Channel 7 for the the National Channel 7 award or is that a conflict of interest. Anyway I am nominating the Sunday Sunrise show who in the 9am news bulletin last Sunday managed in five minutes to show stories on hockey, cricket, proposed boxing match between willie mason and wayne carey, afl, rugby, basketball and some story about a bent uk jockey but failed to provide highlights or even show the score of the previous nights adelaide vs melbourne a-league match.
