Craig Foster: Celtic to "get stuck in" at the San Siro on Wednesday?

You may remember when Celtic defeated AC Milan 2-1 in the Euro Champions League recently SBS Analyst Craig Foster got "stuck in" to the Bhoys performance. The night Dida did his dive:)

According to Fozzie, Celtic didn't attack...enough, didn't keep the ball..enough, and just didn't perform to an acceptable level. Well Celtic won, despite Fozzie saying "It's not even football."

60,000 fans went home happy that night. But no criticism of AC Milan, who were after all the European Champs, defeated by a SCOTTISH side, and we all know what that means!

And so to Wednesday.

Celtic need a point to qualify. At the San Siro. What should Celtic do? What would you do?

Surely you defend like crazy, press hard when possible in key areas, and try and get your ball players on the ball in the attacking third and support the few forward opportunities you may get.

So Fozzie, mate, don't be criticising Celtic from the first minute. We have few players of the standard of Kaka and his mates.

Look at the budgets of the two clubs and give some consideration to how this influences performances and expectations.

Understand the Celtic history, the position of Scottish football, it's achievements in recent years, and try and put the performance in context.

Purely criticising a Celtic team which presumably won't have the ball for the most of the game, well who needs to hear that. Viewers understand the relative merits of the teams and corporate values so come on...

Fozzie, lift your game for Celtic:)
