Australia won't be happy tonight.

The team most fans across the country seem to hate is Sydney FC.

Record crowds always seem to come out to watch them lose. But it rarely happens. In fact they haven't lost away this season.

And after tonight's 2-0 win in Wellington before 14,000 passionate Kiwi's the rest of the Australian football community will go to their beds seething that Sydney and John Kosmina are, for 24 hours, joint leaders of the A-League.

Great improvised goals from Terry McFlynn and Alex Brosque saw them home, but it was tight for a long time.

Who will stop Sydney now?
