Andrew Durante goes to New Zealand!

While the A-League season officially ended for some on the weekend, Wellington Phoenix have been finished for some time.

But don't think they are happy with their records crowd and bottom place in Season 1.

gone, Kristian Rees, gone and Brazilian Felipe, gone. All have been released.

But in come Grand Final man of the match Andrew Durante, returning Socceroo Jon McKain and Leo Bertos from the Glory.

They'll miss Felipe. But defence was a huge problem last year. I reckon they've improved their squad with these comings and goings.

They still need a little more in the final third, but things are looking good for Season 2. Pressures on Perth,who came in 7th, and have lost Simon Colosimo, Leo Bertos and may well struggle to replace them. Early days.
