Grand Final Weekend: Mariners to win 2-0

Many Canberrans are heading up to the A-League Grand Final tomorrow. Most are neutral but those that are barracking for a side are leaning towards the Mariners.


Games in Canberra between Belconnen/Sydney FC v Central Coast has done the trick.

Plus Capital Footballs link with the Mariners has swayed others.

And certainly the response of Lozza McKinna and his players when training and playing in Canberra has impressed the locals.

But who will win?

It will be close, at least that is what we neutrals want.

We don't want 3-0 v 10 men at half-time like last year in Melbourne. Nor do we want penalties.

The Mariners were unlucky to lose the first of the semi's 2-0 to the Jets recently and comprehensively thumped them 3-0 in the second semi.

Mariners to win 2-0. Oh and no tears after the game from either sets of players please. It's hardly the World Cup Final is it!
