Tim Cahill, Harry Kewell

Tim Cahill played a full game last night for Blackburn. So much for David Moyes hamstring fears.

Harry Kewell wasn't even on the bench for Liverpool. Good news?

My money: Tim Cahill will be here, he's just that sort of guy. Harry...I reckon he'll be here to.

And let's face it we need them. Our current squad minus Cahill, Kewell, Viduka and Grella is hardly a team of Champions. Even with them it's going to be a long and tortuous journey I feel.

I hope they all come, especially after the a-league socceroos drew with melbourne victoy 1-1.

Pim Verbeks comments don't sound too harsh after that performance.

Does it worry you that some of the players have said that the tactics used by Pim Verbeek are different to other A-league coaches?

I didn't even realise A-League coaches knew of any tactics......

I think that was the issue. The players are finding the concept of tactics new and awkward. Based on the footage last night and a first-hand review of the game I'm hoping that some of the Euros come home. We need them.

Apparently Muscat & Vargas played well yesterday - Vargas partnered Moore rather well, and Muscat was in his element playing as a defensive midfielder.

As to why MV hold onto the perpetually injured Piorkowski... you don't need match fitness to execute a header. Perhaps it's an insider plan to help Archie get in the squad?

Newcastle have a few tactics, even the Mariners but a tad boring
