Nick Carle has been turning out in a badgeless City shirt for Coca-Cola Championship matches - but not anymore. Club officials were oblivious to the fact that the Australian midfielder was playing in the shirt, until a fan e-mailed the club.

Kitman Roger Barton has now sought a new home shirt for Nick - with a badge on - and the incorrect top has been signed by the 26-year-old for auction via their partners eBay. The match-worn shirt comes with a certificate of authenticity and was sold today for £265.00
