So you thought Australians hated Sydney FC in season 3

Where ever Sydney FC play record crowds follow. Presumably because no-one likes Sydney FC

Well next year with John Aloisi leaving the Mariners and in talks with Sydney FC, Perth Glory star man Simon Colosimo already in the Harbour city, and Mark Bridge Newcastle Jets Grand Final goal scoring hero expected to sign for Sydney ASAP, expect crowds to rise even further when Sydney FC and their swag of mercenaries march into your town in Season 4.

yeah, they are bringing in some new talent. other team`s talent.

bit rough calling anyone mercenary when the sporting life is so short
IMO ...

the way that newcastle has tried to deal with off contract players hasn`t been perfect either.

the team to hate will be even more hateable ... they need those evil guy moustaches. especially kossie.

but if kossie can consistently get them playing good footy they can steal candy from babies in their spare time for all i care ...

Clayton I love it you quote

"but if kossie can consistently get them playing good footy they can steal candy from babies in their spare time for all i care ..."

that's why football is such a great game, the passion of the fans. Hey I'm with you I even cheer ex-Rangers players like crazy when they play for Celtic:)

As for my mercenary comment...well really directed at Aloisi I guess.

He wouldn't sign for Sydney last year, no-one wanted him o/s and suddenly desperate for a game he turns up at the Mariners and then runs off to Sydney at the earliest chance.

I know I know careers are short but Aloisi must have done reasonably well out of the game, given where he played.

And he could have signed for Sydney last season, built some loyalty for himself and the club.

or stay with the Mariners which of course was never going to happen.

Anyway Sydney will be some side with the three expected new signings, so Clayton you for one should have a happy season.
