Get your favourite Small Business on board

Corporate, Small and Large business can now show their support for Canberra's A-League bid. They get a Foundation Membership and their name and logo on the website. So why not encourage your favourite small business to sign up. They can keep the membership, donate it to charity or an employee whatever they like.

Desperate measures.

I want to know, and I'm sure the FFA do as well, that there are at least 1,000 passionate football supporters in Canberra who will commit to be at games. Bob's Fish Shop doesn't cut it, frankly, unless Bob has any intention of going to the game himself.

I think the model is interesting though and it should probably serve as some sort of benchmark for all future a-league bids as a barometer for fan enthusiasm and commitment.

Canberra, as the nation's capital, should have a team. It just doesn't seem to want one.

Hardly desperate Anon. The Mariners had 600 members going into Season 1. We have 500+ two years out.

I think our progress is remarkable for a team that doesn't yet exist.

Of course we'll easily get a thousand fans and then some. 5,000? we're well on track and just have a little faith.

Over 500 after just five weeks and only three weeks online. So hold your fire cowboy for a few more months.

Rome wasn't built in a day. or didn't you know that?
