Socceroos: I'm confident

Crucial game, every World Cup game is, and more midweek crucial footy on TV. Love it!

And Pim is sounding unusually upbeat. Which must be good. ...

We've beaten Qatar twice and psychologically we'll have an edge, even without "our Harry, our Marco, our Carl and our mini-Carl...Vince Grella."

Scott Chipperfield's return fills me with confidence. It really lifts the team.

Craig Moore, too old too slow and too quick to revert to thuggish ways. There is no place for it in football, Quintana will test Moore. It could be embarassing.

But in Brett Emerton, Tim Cahill, Jason Culina, Josh Kennedy, Brett Holman, Bruce Djite, and Scott MacDonald we should have too much firepower.

With Kewell and co out we are looking a stronger and stronger squad as Pim progresses.

Good enough to get to the World Cup and tonight is crucial.

With the Uzbeks in Japan surely they'll lose that would be three defeats for them.

Qatar to drop more points tonight and we could be sitting on a two-horse race for two places with Japan.

That would be nice.

Enjoy the game, and the Socceroos Australia's best and most important football team...unless you count the AFL boyo's:)
