Newcastle Jets observations

Just spent a few days in Newcastle.

Jets players were out and about at the Weet-bix kids triathlon.

Could coverage of the local game in the Newcastle Herald

Big splash of Hamilton Ricard on the back page of the Herald yesterday.

Manager Gary Van Egmond in Brazil but also interested in Ricard....apart from the possility of a murder charge hangin over his head...Ricard that is.

Newcastle need replacements for Milton Rodriguez, Vaughan Coveny and maybe Joel Griffiths if rumours are to be believed.

Seems like the Jets have a great base to build on.
