Alex Tobin's most memorable match

Football in the Capital caught up with former Socceroos captain Alex Tobin at the Belconnen Mall on the weekend.

The Central Coast Mariners development coach was in town for an Asia Confederation coaching course held at the Australian Institute of Sport.

Most memorable games Alex?

"It has to be the World Cup qualifiers, the away games. The Iran game in Tehran in 1997 had 120,000 polite fans. They were nice people cheering for their team. But the Argentina game in Buenes Aires in 1993 was just bedlam. It was an amazing, amazing experience."
