Capital Football junior season kicks-off

16,000 registered players will kick-off in Canberra this weekend.

The young people of Canberra will take to the pitch cheered on by thousand of supporters, most of them one-eyed!

The most popular sport in Canberra will see new teams galore. The women have ten new teams, and have had to start a whole new league.

Majura Junior Soccer Club of North Canberra have doubled their under 8 girls team competition from 4 to 8 teams this year.
