Defence prepare for North Korean summit

Matildas CoachTom Sermanni said, "Defence is the key to our success in North Korea."

The Matildas have two vital Olympic qualifiers coming up against North Korea in June.

Speaking to me at the Matildas training camp at the AIS in Canberra yesterday Sermanni said, "The Matildas are looking forward to the games, it will be tough, very tough, the Koreans are one of the top sides in the World."

Sermanni had the squad working hard on defence over the last four days. The camp ended with a game between the Matildas v Coaches Eleven. The Coaches eleven included three former Socceroo captains, Kevin Muscat, Alex Tobin and Tony Vidmar.

The Matildas play North Korea on Sunday June 3

The return leg, in Coffs Harbour, will be shown live on SBS at 3pm on Sunday June 10.
