New Zealand sound

Wellinton Phoenix have made their first signings.

Ross Aloisi has signed a one-year contract. He will be joined by New Zealander Tim Brown and Australians Richard Johnson and Michael Ferrante, with current New Zealand goalkeeper Mark Paston also signing on.

With two New Zealanders, and three experienced Australian's this looks like being the best New Zealand side to play in an Australian competition.

Here's hoping they get it right this time. The signs are encouraging.
