Matilda star Caitlin Munoz confident of victory

Matilda's star forward Catlin Munoz is confident of victory against DPR Korea at Coffs Harbour on Sunday.

Munoz has been injured for a while but is back in the squad and keen to play here part in this crucial game.

"I'm very excited to be back. The fitness might be a little iffy, as I haven't played for a while, but I'll be giving it 100%," said Munoz speaking from the Matildas training base in Coffs Harbour.

"The girls came back a little upset from last Sundays loss, but we are all really focused on this important game."

"We are getting a lot of support around the town. We've been in the shopping mall, and people have been really supportive."

"My Grandparents are travelling down from Tweed Heads, so that will be great."

"It's a big game, live on SBS and hopefully we'll get a big crowd at the game."

"It's probably our most important game for twelve months, when we were trying to qualify for the World Cup. (Which they did, the World Cup is in September in China.)

Will the Matilda's win?

Before Munoz could answer room-mate Danielle Small shouted across the room, "2-0."

Watch the game live on SBS on Sunday at 3pm. Go the Matildas.

G'day Eamonn,

Thanks for adding your urls into the mix for Aussiejourno's Weekly Blog Awards.

Jeepers-creepers, you put a lot of effort ino this blog. I sense the enthusiasm and the passion for the sport. It's great to see the Beautiful Game showcased Down Under.

I like the way you edit this. You do it with flair, you do it with zest - and it's great to see guest writers.

You've done a great job. Nice template, by the way - you and I share the same `look'.

Good luck with everything. If I could give you one piece of advice it would be to include some more pictures, graphics or video clips. Just a minor thing, but it would give the layout a lot more zing.

Well done.

Cheers

David
