Valeri to miss Grosseto party

Tommy from Grosseto, Italy, has wrote to inform Football in the Capital that there's a big party in Grosseto on 07/06/2007 for Serie B with all citizens and players.

Tommy a mad Grosseto fan hopes Carl Valeri will be present. Unfortunately Valeri's Socceroo duties mean he is unlikely to leave Australia until he knows if he is in the Asia Cup squad.

Valeri is thought of very highly in Grosseto. Tommy, for one, is desperate for him to stay and help the team in Serie A.

After seeing Valeri on Saturday night I can think of many clubs, with a pot of money, in need of a decent defensive midfielder.
