Egg-faced eggperts!

Last time the Olyroos squad was taken out of A-League games, it seemed like every football expert in the country whined about the FFA, the boring A-League games and the loss of so much quality from the league.

Of course there had been a tendency to focus on the negative, the lack of goals etc etc.

What now?

After two superb games, with goals, goal, goals, will the experts declare themselves eggperts, call for more Olyroo's games, or tell the A-League to play their reserves every week!

So take 10 or 15 of our best players out, add Kevin Muscat, Grant Brebner and others to the list and the quality of games is outstanding.

Next time some of the eggperts quickly criticise the A-League, well maybe they should think twice.

There is plenty to enjoy in this league. And surely we'll hear a lot of positives from the football media this week.

And there are still two games to go. I'm looking forward to the Mariners clash with the Roar.
