A-League star men so far

Who are the top five A-League players so far?

Well there has been plenty of talk about the quality of the league, but I don't see that much difference between this and the previous seasons overall.

Not really.

But here for what it's worth is my top five so far....

In no particular order..

1. Nathan Burns...tremendous skill, vision and no slouch. Provides great entertainment every week, even last week when his touch let him down in front of goal! Hignlight: Skinning Dean Heffernan in the game against the Mariners. Loved it.

2. Juninho..as a Celtic fan I actually wasn't too sure how he'd go, but like Dwight Yorke before him the quality is undeniable. The goals he's created for Alex Brosque have been beautiful, but ref's do need to protect the million dollar man.

3. Bruce Djite..having ben mocked by my mates for over twelve months now for predicting he was one to admire. Having the last laugh as Bruce tucks em away. Golden moment, outplaying Craig Moore deep inside the Roar half.

4. Michael Zullo. Hasn't played much, not yet. But the way he attacked the Wellington defence was just exhilarating. Can't wait to see more of the guy. Oh and tell the Refs to protect him. Great moment, that goal!

5. I love forwards it's true, but Danny Vukovic has been fantastic. He is head and shoulders above the other keepers I reckon. And every week he seems to make vital saves. Golden moment, every week he takes the park. The Mariners always give him plenty to do, and he does it.

Others of note;
The whistling Kevin Muscat was outstanding last week against Sydney.
Daniel and Felipe have shone at times
Denni and the Jets seems to be hitting his straps.
Always enjoy Nikolai Topor-Stanley's performances.
Travis Dodd, Archie Thompson and Michael Ferrante have stood out for me.
Adrian Caceres had made exciting and vital contributions.
Joel Griffiths always keeps me awake.
Adam Giffiths and Jade North in defence were a strong pairing.
Mark Bridge, Mark Milligan and Mark Rudan are all performing well.

What do you mean you disagree!

Anyone you would add?..particularly into the top five?
