Nearpost First Show report.

Well tonight Canberra got a football show....at last. A one hour show and the support has been overwhelming.

It's been four months in the planning

training course completed, presenters come and gone before the opening night, podcasts practice, great support from fellow bloggers in Sydney Melbourne and Brisbane.

Players and Coaches, administrators and fans. The rich and the famous to the young and the aspiring. Young and old. The support has been immense.

And we went to air last night, the Nearpost team, Nicole Somi, Arif Hossein and myself, Eamonn Flanagan.

Thanks to all the team at 2XX our special guests Perth Glory's Nikoli Topor-Stanley and Indigenous Australian and Socceroo Harry Williams.

Channel Vision filmed the show or bits of it and you can watch the interviews and pictures on their site. www.channelvision.com.au on Friday.

It's over, we're all delighted and we'll be back to do it all again next week.

Hi to all at Nearpost. Listened to your show. At last, dedicated football coverage in the Captial. Well done, enjoyed the interviews with Nikoli and Harry Williams especially - he is a legend.
Keep up the good work.
Oh, enjoyed the football songs as well, hope you can find some more football gems.
Cheers,
Willie, Canberra
