Canberra Fans tendencies!

Apparently Sydney FC have 640,000 fans compared to Melbourne Victory's 638,000, but the Victory have an average match day attendance 10,000 higher than Sydney's.

When planning for an A-League team in Canberra we need to observe the fan base of the other professional sports teams in town.

So to this end I've looked at the Canberra Raiders who according to Roy Morgan Pollsters have the lowest supporter base in Rugby League but are 33% more likely than other NRL fans to “within limits, I will buy the cheapest car in it’s class”;

Raiders fans are 20% more likely to have bought from Bunnings in the last 12 months.

and for your enjoyment, in the AFL, Western Bulldogs fans are 98% more likely, than AFL fans of other teams, to have bought a dishwasher in the past 12 months;

I've yet to work out what it all means, but wait there's more...

Canberra Raiders supporters are:
33% more likely to agree that “within limits, I will buy the cheapest car in it’s class”;
23% more likely to have travelled for business by air within Australia during the past 12 months;
19% more likely to have made a purchase of hardware or gardening products from Bunnings in the past 4 weeks;
13% more likely to employ Unwired as their Internet service Provider;
10% more likely to employ The Commonwealth Bank as their main Financial Institution;
10% less likely to agree with the statement “If I could eat out every night, I would”;
12% less likely to have watched an AFL match on TV;
27% less likely to have visited a Red Rooster outlet in the last 4 weeks;
43% less likely to agree “I would like to use the Internet, but I am intimidated by the complexity of it all”;
