Canberra United: Supporters group to front home games

Canberra United. It feels good, doesn't it, to have a team in Canberra finally.

Ivan Slavich is on one of the supporters family buses to Sydney to show support for a Canberra A-League team. Why not get your club to have your own football singing bus. But the fans aren't all about the blokes, no way. They'll be wearing their t-shirts to the Canberra United games as well so I'm told. Good stuff.

And yesterday SBS sent a film crew to cover the Capital Punishment supporters trip, expected to air Sunday week.

Anticipation is building for Canberra United, and the good news is we've got some players. The bad news is we have to wait just a few more days to find out who the first six or so are. Yes even I have to wait so be patient all will be revealed very soon I'm told. Probably early next week.

Caitlin Munoz is playing in a lucrative, so I read, 7-a-side tournament in the UAE. She'll be back very soon and hopefully player news will follow.
