Olympic in turmoil?

Local Canberra Olympic Coach Ian Hayward is said to have resigned from the club after Sundays 3-3 draw with O'Connor Knights.

A players meeting to discuss the situation was held this evening with the outcome still not known. One insider said the players may not play against Tuggeranong United on the weekend if the issue isn't resolved in Hayward's favour.

Sources close to the Club state "player selection issues" have left Hayward with no choice but to step down.

Hayward a long-time respected local football Coach has lead the club to previous success.
