AIS Coach wants a house in Sydney?

Rumours abound. I want a house in Sydney, and so does the prospective new Dutch AIS Coach.

The AIS look set to appoint an overseas coach, if you believe the pitchside talk, yes he's Dutch. No surprise there.

Previous AIS Coach Steve O'Connor was on somewhere around $100,000. The new position was advertised at $200,000.

"The new Dutch man" is holding out. Apparently more than $250,000 is required to seal the deal, plus a house in Canberra...oh and an apartment in Sydney.

So with Tech Director Rob Baan leaving, we will presumably have another Dutch mate popping in. A 57 year old by all accounts.

Two years in Sydney tops I reckon, and he might pop down to Canberra..... occasionally.

Where do you get a two year retirement fund like that?

Football Federation Australia.

Gary Van Egmond, even Steve Van Connor would have been much cheaper!

Eamonn,

What's up!!!!!

Hopefully the new youth Dutchy coach can come up with something better than the 5-5 -0 formation of Verbeek. I hate to say it but that formation was UN_Australian. If Australia was a football nation like England the media would have been down Verbeek's neck after that performance.

I heard that Slaven Bilic is on $150 euro's a year coaching for Croatia.

Keep up the good work.

Stama how the devil are you?

I could come up with something better than 5-5-0 for nothing!!

Pim had better step it up this week or he's dead meat.

Boring football, with FVIE defenders, they keep trying to say we have three, but it's five with two screening. with Mark S that's eight friggin defenders

add in Wilkshire and Culina that's10 non-scoring players!!!!

Give us a break Pim

dunno if slaven bilic will be on 150k euro per year for much longer.

see the pim response to all those hecklers who should stick with surfing and who shouldn`t talk about football? a bit precious methinks.

and harry kewell, lone striker ... i hope we don`t see that again. hopefully the heckling pushes pim towards having a go.
