Arnie: Do you need my help?

Three and a half hours to go, I'm in the hot seat.

Full scale security for the Australian game but with small frame I nipped in unnoticed.

And there was Arnie's seat. And it is hot.

Reckon Arnie could do with my help, so if you're reading this Arnie just three hours before the game it's not too late to ask.

My advice:

Play Mark Milligan at right back..and push Brett Emerton forward. Left back...maybe play Mark Milligan there as well. I know he's a right back, but Luke Wilkshire isn't a full back on anyside.

Failing that just do it, for Australia, for yourself.

It's all a bit tense but don't lose Australia not tonight.

It's a bit cooler today at the moment but it could change. Bangkok is that sort of place.

I can't bare it....but we're going to win.

We are, aren't we?

oh common....i think Graham Arnold was spot on that some of the players were not interested to be here....

the bottom line is......the socceroos are an embarrassment to this whole competition......you can loose to a team like Iraq.....whose country is in a shambolic situation......

i think top European club should sign players like Younis Mahmood instead of Hairy Kewell.....

even if you made it through.......what makes you think you'll go far........you'll be sliced to pieces by the likes South Korea, Iran or even Vietnam for that matter......

just go home SUCKERoos......or better still......GO BACK TO OCEANIA.....

Were you comments an omen for Arnie?

The team needs as much assistance as possible at the moment. I reckon it's more mental than physical (which seems to have been the reason).

Enjoy tonight against Thailand!

Nick

team needs all the support it can get I agree, and the Aussie fans have been in fine voice in the stadium and at training

but Arnie hasn't given me much confidence with his defensive strategies since the World Cup. Denmark and Singapore..yes Singapore srping to mind.

We can still do it, and I think we will win tonight, but it will be close.

We need to score first and Arnie needs to make some bold decisions with his team selection

He'll play Milligan finally, because he has to as Neill is suspended, but Arnie has not taken the bull by the horns.

After Singapore, and Oman the defensive performances were rubbish!

What did he do? Kept the same back four.

Arnie is no Hiddink and he isn't exactly oozing confidence with his knowledge and comments during the various press conferences I've been to.

Still it's another game and we have the players to win, inspite of Arnie's Coaching strategies it would appear.

Thailand v Australia should be a comfortable win...on any football ground in the world at anytime shouldn't it?

Why am I worried?
